Privacy Policy for Nivel BLE
Nivel BLE is an application developed by COMPUTROL S.R.L. The application connects to the ECU_NIVEL device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and displays tank level information.
- Permissions and device data
The application requests Bluetooth permissions to scan for and connect to the ECU_NIVEL device.
On Android 11 and earlier, the application may request location permission solely because the Android operating system requires it for Bluetooth scanning. Nivel BLE does not use this permission to determine, collect, store, or share the user’s location.
The application may access the nearby BLE device name, identifier, signal strength, and sensor readings solely to establish the connection and display the tank level. This information is processed locally on the device. - Data collection and sharing
Nivel BLE does not require user accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, audio, video, or other personal information.
The application does not use advertising, analytics, Firebase, or external servers. Sensor readings and BLE device information are not shared with third parties. - Data retention and deletion
The current version does not retain personal user data. Any temporary application data is removed when the application is uninstalled. - Contact
For privacy questions, contact COMPUTROL S.R.L. at ventas@computrol.com.ar or +54 3564 445800.
Privacy Policy for Mezcladora BLE
Mezcladora BLE is a mobile application developed by COMPUTROL S.R.L. The application connects to compatible Computrol equipment using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to monitor the mixing process and configure certain operating parameters.
- Permissions and equipment data
The application requests Bluetooth permissions to scan for and connect to compatible BLE equipment.
On Android 11 and earlier, the Android operating system may require location permission for Bluetooth scanning. Mezcladora BLE does not use the phone’s location to determine the user’s whereabouts and does not collect or share the phone’s location.
When connected, the application may access and process the BLE device name, identifier, signal strength, live level readings, configured setpoint, operating status of the connected equipment, completed filling events, timestamps, historical records, and GPS coordinates transmitted by the equipment when available.
The application may send operator-configured setpoint values to the connected equipment through Bluetooth Low Energy. This information is processed locally on the device to display the current status, historical records, charts, and maps. - Data collection and sharing
Mezcladora BLE does not require user accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, audio, video, or advertising identifiers.
The application does not contain advertising and does not use advertising ID, analytics, or Firebase. It does not use COMPUTROL remote servers to store or process application data.
Except for map tile requests to OpenStreetMap and user-initiated CSV sharing described below, equipment data is not automatically uploaded or shared with COMPUTROL or other third parties.
When the user exports historical records, the application creates a CSV file and opens the device’s system sharing function. The file is shared only with the application or recipient selected by the user. COMPUTROL does not receive or control the exported file. - Maps and OpenStreetMap
When maps are displayed, the application requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap at https://tile.openstreetmap.org.
These requests may expose the device’s IP address and the approximate map area requested to OpenStreetMap’s servers. The requested map area may correspond to the GPS position transmitted by the connected equipment.
OpenStreetMap’s Privacy Policy is available at https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
OpenStreetMap’s Tile Usage Policy is available at https://operations.osmfoundation.org/policies/tiles/.
- Data retention, deletion, and security
Equipment data is processed locally during use. The application does not maintain a COMPUTROL remote database or user account.
Historical records may remain in the connected equipment’s local storage according to the equipment’s operation. The application does not upload historical records or GPS coordinates to COMPUTROL servers.
Exported CSV files remain on the device or in the destination selected by the user and can be deleted by the user from that location. Since the application does not create user accounts, account deletion is not applicable.
COMPUTROL applies reasonable safeguards consistent with the application’s local operation. Users are responsible for protecting exported files and selecting trusted sharing destinations. - Contact
